About Mary
I've spent my career helping organizations solve the problems that happen when technology moves faster than the organization around it.

Content needed — Mary
The connective narrative between Mary's opening line and her positioning line below
hasn't been written yet. This paragraph is a placeholder, not Mary's actual bio —
it should weave her career narratively (global data governance leadership at United
Technologies, II-VI, Axiall, and Syniti; SAP/MDM/MDG; data quality; organizational
change; practice building; executive advisory; and now AI governance) rather than as a
bulleted list, per spec 6.
AI has made the governance problems I've spent my career solving impossible to ignore.
What I Believe
AI isn't a strategy.
Governance shouldn't be bureaucracy.
Bad data doesn't become good data because you fed it to AI.
If you can't trace AI value to a measurable business outcome, don't call it ROI.
Technology transformation without organizational change isn't transformation.
AI governance is ultimately about accountability.
